About
Meet Elaine Ollerton George: a West Valley City native whose 14-year nursing career reflects resilience, compassion, and community engagement. After early involvement in Health Occupations Students of America and volunteer work at Pioneer Valley Hospital, she earned her ASN at Salt Lake Community College and BSN (with honors) via Western Governors University. Elaine built expertise on busy medical-surgical floors, orthopedics, telemetry, and step-down ICU, and now leads as a Charge Nurse and Preceptor—guiding newer nurses and spearheading initiatives in trauma-informed care and behavioral crisis intervention. She actively participates in quality improvement projects to lower readmission rates and enhance care transitions, always grounding her work in the belief: “Treat every patient like they’re your own family.”
